Things to do in February in Denver

It may be the shortest month of the year, but there is no shortage of things to do in Denver in February. Here’s a list of ways to keep busy for the next four weeks:

The Denver Zoo’s month-long exhibit, Flock to the Zoo!, is a celebration of birds. Throughout the month, there will be zookeeper talks, bird demonstrations, and lots of feathered fun. Seniors who are 65 and older can get discounted tickets.

On February 9, the Colorado Wind Ensemble hosts A Tribute to John Philip Sousa with Master of Ceremonies Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. Overtures, marches, soloists, and sing-alongs will make you feel like you’re enjoying the real John Philip Sousa Band during the Golden Age of the Concert Band. Estate and funeral planning isn’t a topic that people enjoy talking about regularly, but it only helps you and your loved ones get through a difficult time.
